Dr. Kate Hazlitt graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, in 2006 after obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Psychology from The University of Western Ontario. She began her clinical practice in Seaforth in the fall of 2006, and shortly after opened a second clinic in Goderich. In 2008, Dr. Hazlitt went into full-time clinical practice in Goderich, as the founder and clinic director of Good Earth Naturopathic Centre. Her clinical practice integrates eastern and western philosophies of the nature and cause of disease and focuses on the connection between the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual layers of health. She uses Asian medicine and acupuncture, clinical nutrition with diet and supplementation, botanical medicine, homeopathic medicine, counseling, detoxification, drainage, and auricular medicine as primary therapeutic tools. Currently, Dr. Hazlitt is focusing on her growing family practice, which continues to offer seminars and workshops for the general public and health professionals, promoting health awareness to achieve optimal wellness in all areas of life. Dr. Hazlitt is a mother to two young boys and enjoys an active life of CrossFit, running and cycling and preparing nutritious whole foods for her family.
